Our Cuisine

The story of the Hotel is strictly linked to the evolution of its restaurant.  Chef Bruno, the eldest son of the family, his wife Bianca and young Mattia are the culinary experts in the Sicher family. The menus are creative, carefully planned and prepared with love using simple, quality, local products and linked to the cycle of the seasons and the rich local culinary tradition.


Typical Trentino cuisine first and foremost with many other imaginative and traditional recipes.  Grandmother Elsa’s strudel is just one of our specialities and is really worth trying!  Since 2003 the restaurant has proudly boasted the Osteria Tipica Trentina brand and Slow Food certification.
The  Sicher family welcomes you to their restaurant to sample typical Trentino dishes and lots of other genuine flavours.

In the “Pineta” restaurant the Chef personally takes care of preparing the  “Mortandela”, smoking speck, preparing the meat, growing vegetables, and producing excellent red wine. Here the typical Trentino recipes  have a real genuine, traditional flavour: one of the last bastions of a disappearing peasant culture can be found in this astonishing restaurant in the heart of Trentino

Andreas’ Wine Cellar
Chef Bruno passionately produces wine in the private wine cellar of our hotel. Chef Bruno's and other local producers inspired our sommelier Andreas, who tells us: “My passion for wine arose when I met these producers and by reading specialist publications: I understood what motivated these experts. Often it’s started just for fun, but usually it’s something more serious: the desire to do something unique that all people can experience and remain as an indelible sign in the mind of those who are lucky enough to sample their products”. This is our philosophy and what we want you to experience here in typical italian wine cellar!

Wine and Food Tasting
Sometimes, late in the evening, Chef Bruno invites guests into his charming, ancient cellar to taste some of his genuine products. The wine and food tastings in Bruno’s cellar are special, intimate and precious moments. Both connoisseurs and curious are enchanted by these local products rich in flavour and aromas and by the relaxed, familiar and traditional atmosphere. The mortandela, prepared and smoked by Bruno, his delicate, homemade red wine and the variety of cold cuts and cheeses are some of the local flavours that you should try here in our restaurant during one of our wine and food tastings
Special occasions, parties and requests
The Pineta organises special occasions to make the important  moments of your life unique.  You can choose between the 130 seat restaurant or the 90 seat “Taverna” room to host your special events. We will work out a menu with you to suit your needs and expectations as well as plan and organise themed events, and entertainment or music to suit the occasion. Birthdays, communions, reunions and themed evenings are all special occasions at the Pineta!
